Thank you TMC for all that you do in keeping Riverside Residents informed. And keeping the city accountable. One only needs to go back and read previous articles and see the patterns emerging. Hopefully our city council is keeping up with TMC and stops their corrupt behavior . Your time and efforts are fully appreciated. Hoping 2014 is as damn funny as 2013. The best is the twerking jib jab. LMFAO

Well it was a short happy in the new year as the corruptions continues. Now the city is hiring a retired employee as it’s called pay check and pension time again for a friend. Remember when your kid touched the hot stove and leaved never to do it again because of the pain. We the City Attorney a few years ago said nothing as a retired employee was hire under temp while collecting pay check and pension. The State said you can’t retire from your job and return to it still collecting pension. Well it seems that lesson was not learned as it is happening again. We have citizens arrested for talking over 3 minutes, clapping at a meeting and arrested, we have ethic violations as the volunteers are given directions by city attorney when the hearing is to be none bias and fair. Time for the State Attorney to come in to investigate before Riverside becomes another Bell. The City could be so much better and back to the days where jobs and visitors enjoyed coming to Riverside. But as long as the corrupt officials continue to spend and charge nothing will change. We see pray the citizens wake up before it’s to late.

It’s about the only time I’ve seen said official so relaxed. As long as he has a designated driver…he did right?

I think the ethics hearings have been way more entertaining lately than they’ve been in the past. None of this, we’ll deliberate now…does anyone have anything to say…you don’t…sure…okay let’s vote and get out of her in less than five minutes. The last one was the first time I ever saw any true attempts at deliberation before a decision. If the Human Resources Board or the five in attendance at that employee hearing had done nearly as much work rather than hand it off to a conflicted out City Attorney to strong arm, perhaps that ethics hearing wouldn’t have had to ever take place.

Still it was probably the most entertaining one of them all so far. So that ethics panel earns a gold star for 2013. The Human Resources Board however didn’t. Disappointing but it hasn’t been the same since Ellie Bennett chaired it. Everyone knows that the City Attorney runs that board and any other board or commission that is involved in any area where civil litigation of any type’s a possible “outcome”.

Two gold stars to the Ethics Panel on that last complaint for spanking the City Attorney. I almost felt sorry for Gonzalez and Ozaki (who was kick ass in the public defender’s office earlier in his career…alas) for having to sit through it while Mr. P was out of the office.

    Almost.
