The question is, “Can you as the public, trust the Press Enterprise for information and stories having to do with City politics?” Thirty Miles brought you the deficit, the City Attorney outside legal without contracts, Prop 218 and 26 violations by RPU, overcharging the rate payer by over $200 million. TMC will continue to do that, we certainly hope that the Press Enterprise will follow our lead, and be a true news source for the people; and entity that pursues truth and justice for the taxpayers of Riverside, not a disrespected bought and paid for advertisement rag for falsely perceived leadership.
After an interview process (formality as I call it), the Press Enterprise came out to endorse the incumbent Mayor William “Rusty” Bailey on May 24, 2016. During Memorial Weekend of the 4th to the 5th of May, RPU purchased a full page ad to celebrate that day, in color (more costly). This past weekend on Sunday June 5, 2016, a sticker on the front page of all Press Enterprise papers stating “I’m For Rusty For Mayor.” Paid in Full by the Rusty Campaign possibly at an extraordinary cost (will see on their 460’s). On May 3rd, 2016, Charter Communication, The Raincross Group and the Press Enterprise sponsored a Mayoral Debate/Forum… as of today, Election Day, June 7th, 2016, the Raincross Group or the Press Enterprise has yet to publicized or promote this debate to the public on their sites.
For the record folks, and for the establishment of the City of Riverside sake, it would have been “Cheaper To Keep Her.” Establishment politics has not been doing what is best for their community, therefore the wrath of justice will be on their door step. Not doing the right thing will be costly to the taxpayer, and unjustifiably so; also because you the PE could have been a “contender” and “champion” for us. Unfortunately, the integrity and possible downfall of PE publication will take a “hit,” and justifiably so..

I commend what you do 100% – I’ve had 7 years of dealing with Riverside Code Enforcement and RPD corruption. Unlike others, I am not weary of fighting them – it just makes me what to fight against the corruption even more.
For 7 years I have been feuding with a ‘neighbor’ across the street with loads and loads of Code Violations – and most of those violations still exist. I send out 100’s of emails to get me point across and I think they figure if they block me, ignore me, and send me letters of threats for arrest I’ll stop. I haven’t stopped and I’m still waiting to be arrested for my numerous complaints.
Channel 4 NBC has a new news team called I Team – they have received my story and was informed of the corruption within the City of Riverside.
I also gave them your contact info – this email and your website – in hopes you may also share in the many corruptions within the City of Riverside.
I do ask for help however…Can you post a brief little tid bit asking any and all viewers to contact this email address: fight4urrightsstopcorruption@gmail.com (it was created for this purpose) for their experiences with corruption, lack of duty, issues and experiences with City of Riverside, RPD, and any other City government Dept so that can be forwarded to NBC I Team.

A few years back, a brother in law of a Riverside Councilman (can you guess who) was drunk driving, hit and severely damaged numerous nursery trees. There was no Police report made, no investigation, no arrest, no citation, nothing. The Councilman paid for the trees (still do not know if it was his money he used or ?), and no Press, nothing. Hidden from public knowledge, no accountability. Corruption.
Anyway – it would help to expose the City of Riverside with more stories from other residents.
