TMC: Thirty Miles of Corruption

Getting hosed and tazed by Measure-Z, don’t get the book thrown at you with Measure-O, in fact Vote No on Measure-O.  Yes it is always about the kids, but this time is monies over the years misspent.  This political campaign flyer in favor of Measure-O was sent today to most Riverside residents.  It tells you all the good things that will come from passing Measure-O, and the last page has the Riverside Elite all favoring it.  The one thing all these hundreds of people are not telling you, is how much it will cost the taxpayer.  Take a look at and try to find the answer, there is none.  They are certainly afraid if the taxpayer finds out, it may not pass.  Well TMC is going to tell you how much it will cost each and everyone of you, if you Vote in favor of this Measure-O.

Below is the Tax Rate Statement Concerning Measure-O, which comes from the Sample Ballot and Informational Pamphlet, from the County of Riverside Registrar of Voters.

What all the Measure-O are afraid to tell you is that the cost is in the form of a $392 Million Dollar Bond (Riverside Unified School Bond), which will be assessed on you Property Taxes.  For example:

This November 2016, you will also be voting on another tax, Measure-O (Riverside Unified School Bond).  The tax rate statement states $59 per $100,000.00 of home value, but it also states “best estimate,” so it can very well be upwards to a $100.00!  If it passes, this will increase your property taxes $100.00 per every $100,000.00 of what your house is worth.  So if you have a $400,000.00 home, your new additional property tax will be $400.00 on top of what you are already paying.  Then add your new sales tax (Measure Z), which can be an additional $100.00 or more per year.  You now have a total approximation of $500.00 per year additional tax.  How about the length of the bond you may ask.  It states “to be determined,” it could be 25 years to 35 year, the Measure-O will figure it out for you later!  They aren’t even sure of that!  I’m sure all of you do remember there will be a sewer increase this year, and don’t forget Public Utilities will also have their hand out soon.  The State and the Federal Government may also need more money since they have also been incompetent with spending your tax monies as well.

How much more can you afford Folks?  Is it your fault that the leadership elite which have been running the City failed?  Is it right that every time misspent or overspent your monies that they come and ask for more?  Shouldn’t have they spent it wisely to begin with?

If you are already getting hosed and tazed by Measure-Z, don’t get the book thrown at you by passing Measure-O.  Make them live within their means, hell, we all have to, don’t we?  It’s not your fault folks, send government a message!
