There once was a developer named Rubin. Who came to Riverside
And thought he could move in. But then he met
A city manager named Bradley. Who always behaved badley
And together they Raided the sewer fund, sadly.
So low and behold, Your utilities will rise.
When you open your bill, You’ll hear the cries.
The City Council will hide, But kiss your ass on the side,
And this will be our cities demise.

Does anyone know who is behind the plans to demolish the Imperial Hardware Store? The Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is for an office building, but why would the City Development Department spend all the money on an EIR unless there was someone with real interest in doing that kind of project? I wouldn’t be surprised if it were Rubin or Doug Jacobs. Does anyone know?
Dvonne,
You are under arrest for violation of grammar and spelling rules which you swore to uphold as a teacher. “Badley” doesn’t have an e. “Cities” is plural, not possessive. As far as punctuation and capitalization, I don’t know where to start. Ple exercise your right to remain silent. 🙂
And yesterday, on cue, Paul Davis slinks back into his chair and says “nevermind” about the BB&K-RPU-RPD-Citrus Tower foxtrot.
Davis is toothless. Seriously, can ANYONE point to ANYTHING he has changed since coming to City Hall on his bullshit “reform” agenda? Getting a parade for his wife and her friends (Lunar Fest!?!?) oesn’t count. That foolish escapade just cost us money! Nope, Davis is weightless and toothless. What a waste of a vote.
Food Trucks! You forgot about the Food Trucks!!
